Anthems

The St. Philip's Choir helps lead the congregation in hymns and worship during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service and at other services throughout the year, including Christmas Eve and Easter Day. The choir also sings two anthems at each Sunday service: an introit (sung before the processional hymn) and an offertory anthem (sung midway through the service as offerings are collected). Organist and choirmaster Chris Walchesky carefully chooses hymns and anthems to support the message of the sermon and the liturgical season. Below are some recordings (most recent at the bottom, sung by the St. Philip's Choir unless otherwise noted). Click here to learn more about the choirs.
