From Marsha Alterman, TFM Volunteer Coordinator:Today and every day we are grateful for our volunteers. Through your donations (in-kind and financial) and your time, you make it possible for us to help hundreds of folks each day. If it were not for you, we could not provide the extensive services we offer , at no cost, to our clients.
With the government shutdown, there are more people in our community needing assistance and Tricounty Family Ministries is blessed to be able to help. So … thank you very much.
Below you will find the volunteer schedule for the month of February. Unforeseen needs do arise and we appreciate your flexibility and willingness to help where help is needed!!!
I know it can be challenging to schedule things in advance. With this being said, it is a first come first serve and I appreciate you signing up and not just showing up. It helps to avoid too many or too few volunteers on any given day.
Let me know what works best for you and thanks again for being a part of Tricounty's volunteer team.Kitchen duties are food prep or serving. Pantry duties are shelving or making up take-home grocery bags for clients.
Wednesday, 2/20 (Feed the Need)

St. John's Chapel
St. John’s is a mission church of our diocese that reaches out to its Eastside community twice a month with a Holy Saturday Brunch. Several St. Philippians have volunteered, and the St. Philip’s Home Missions Committee will continue providing leadership for this partnership on the third Saturday of each month. All St. Philippians are welcome to come and participate! Five to ten volunteers are needed each brunch and the time commitment is from approximately 10:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Ben Hagood at firstname.lastname@example.org or 843-709-9801. Come, serve, and join the fun!
At St. Philip's
We are seeking additional volunteers to swell our ranks as we OPEN OUR DOORS for the spring. It is an honor and pleasure to be an ambassador for St. Philip's. We have needs for volunteers for weekday shifts of 10:00-12:00, 12:00-2:00, and 2:00-4:00 pm. Come and join this important, necessary, and fun ministry. We offer complete training and assistance. You will absolutely love it! If you can give two hours of your time during the week, please call Ed Pendarvis (843-819-7842) or Elizabeth Bowles (843-722-0271).
