Christian Education for Children
Age 3 through Grade 6

The adults of St. Philip's are dedicated to raising God's children in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. Children may participate in the following Christian education opportunities:

Sunday School (Nursery through 6th grade)
9:15-10:15 a.m. in the Parish House
St. Philip's uses a biblically-based curriculum on Sunday mornings. Classes meet on the first floor of the Parish House. Parents, please pick up children promptly at 10:15 a.m. in the child's classroom. The nursery remains open during worship.

Children's Chapel
10:30 a.m. Sunday service
Children may follow the cross to Children's Chapel during the sermon hymn and return to their families following the Doxology. Led by Angela Clark, Children's Chapel is an opportunity for young children to hear an age appropriate sermon during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service.

Christmas Pageant (Ages 3-8th grade)
December (Rehearsals in November and December)
Each Christmas, the children of St. Philip's join together to tell the story of the birth of Christ. It allows children to be a part of this important celebration. There are many roles to play, so everyone is invited to participate. Look for details in the inSPIRE.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) (Graduates of 3K through Graduates of 6th grade)
CHECK IT OUT!!!! June 7-11, 2010 CLICK HERE for VBS 2010 registration Form. CLICK HERE for VBS volunteer form.

VBS is an exciting, Spirit-filled week of fun and learning for all children. We begin each morning at 9:00 a.m. with music and hilarious skits with an important message that prepares kids for fun and learning with their VBS teachers. There will be delicious snacks, fun arts/craft, great story tellers, plenty of new and old friends. We are done by 12:00 Monday- Thursday. On Friday, all families are invited for a great picnic lunch--11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.. It is truly one of the highlights of St. Philip's Children's Ministries.  If you would like to download and print a VBS Registration and/or Volunteer Form please look under "What's Happening at St. Phlip's" on the home page.
