St. Philip's
Preschool

For the Spiritual, Social,
and Intellectual Growth
of Your Child

Classes for ages 1-3 years

The St. Philip's Preschool is located in the Parish House of St. Philip's Church,
at the corner of Cumberland and Church Streets

Purpose
St. Philip's Preschool program is offered to the members of St. Philip's Church and its surrounding community. This is one of the many ministries of the church provided to reach out to children with Christ's love. The program introduces children to the church community and a Christian world view. Parental participation is not only encouraged, but crucial for the livelihood of this program.

Philosophy

St. Philip's Preschool strives to provide a Christian learning environment in which children can grow spiritually, socially, and intellectually. This growth is encouraged through play, games, and exploration of new materials through which concepts and skills are introduced and reinforced. The St. Philip's School will provide a warm, caring and loving environment for children designed to increase their confidence and love for learning.

Enrollment of children at St. Philip's Preschool (hereafter referred to as SPP) is available to the general public.  Preference is given to members of St. Philip's Church, returning students, and siblings of current students. Registration forms will be available in February. In order to reserve a space for a child, parents must return registration forms with a nonrefundable $50 registration fee.

A Parent Orientation will be held in late August. The parents of registered students will be contacted by the director and informed of the meeting date and time. The director, teachers, and various board members will be available for discussion and questions. At this time parents will complete emergency information forms, general information forms, and turn in shot records. Initial tuition payments will be due at this time as well.

What Parents Are Saying
About St. Philip's Preschool
_____________________________

"My daughter was full of surprises this past year while attending the St. Philips Preschool. She learned how to dance, color, and play well with other children her age. She has a broad vocabulary, which in part was learned from the hands-on teachers at school. At her age (one year), I assumed it would be all play, but the St. Philips Preschool definitely incorporated learning and a lot of love into the curriculum."

"I was worried my child would be upset when I dropped her off at school for the first time, but she never looked back. She loved the program!"
