Women of St. Philip's - Episcopal Church Women

All women members of St. Philip's are members of St. Philip's ECW. Its leadership is composed of an elected executive committee, directors, and ad hoc committees.

The chief goal of the Women of St. Philip's, ECW is to promote Christian fellowship and growth for all women of St. Philip's through Bible studies, dinners with guest speakers, and service opportunities.

The Women of St. Philp's, ECW is an arm of hospitality and outreach for all St. Philippians. It is responsible for hosting the Bishop's receptions for the fall and spring confirmands and all receptions for clergy. This organization coordinates other receptions as requested and works closely with the kitchen committee.

The Women of St. Philip's (ECW) assists with decorating the church for Christmas in cooperation with the Flower Guild.

The Compassion Committee of the Women of St. Philip's, ECW provides and delivers meals for the sick, new mothers, and bereaved families. It sends notes of encouragement and prayer to those in need. Please contact Donna Stouffer at the church (722-7734) if you know of a need in this area.

St. Philip's ECW is an active member of the Diocesan Episcopal Church Women.

Executive Board Meetings: Second Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m., in the Parish Hall upstairs in the Parish House.
