We are currently holding services in our Parish Hall on the corner of Church and Cumberland Streets. The sanctuary and graveyard are closed to weekday visitors due to construction and renovations taking place as part of our Shine the Light capital campaign.

Everyone! Think about coming with me and lots of other St. Philippians to the New Wineskins Conference in September. You will never be the same.
Imagine singing praises to God with all your heart with 2000 people from all over the world! That is what just one small part of the New Wineskins Conference is all about––a taste of heaven and a phenomenal Holy Spirit time empowering us to reach out to others near and far with the love of Christ.

Grandparents have a unique opportunity to pass down wisdom, values, and faith to their grandchildren, including how to handle money from a biblical perspective. With today’s culture promoting instant gratification and excessive spending, grandparents can help their grandchildren develop a strong foundation of financial stewardship based on God’s Word. By instilling key biblical principles and providing age-appropriate financial guidance, grandparents can shape the next generation into wise and faithful stewards.

St. Philip’s first GriefShare course finished up at the end of April. What a privilege it was for me, Juanita Orvin, and Gerry McCord to facilitate this strong grief support program! Thirteen participants completed their work each week, covering topics such as “What is Normal?”, “Loneliness and Sadness,” “Self Care,” “Anger,” “Regrets,” “Questions for God,” “Hope and Resilience,” and more. Here’s what a few folks said about their experience:...

Have you ever stopped to just wonder at Jesus––his childhood, his miracles, his death and resurrection, his plan for a second coming? Last week at St. Philip’s, 65 children ages 4–11 and over 30 youth and adult volunteers did just that!

After participating in the dedication of the Rangi New Testament last August, I was blessed with an hours-long drive with a missionary friend Jared, and Anderson, a Tanzanian Christian and devoted choir member. We got to talking about many things, including church music. To my delight, Anderson encapsulated in a few short statements some of the reasons we Christians are to...
On a cool and partly cloudy Saturday morning in one of the far corners of the earth, several hundred people gathered in plastic chairs on a brown lawn under the façade of an imposing church. Some had traveled thousands of miles by plane and then hours more by car; many had walked. Most were dressed in their very best: men in shirt and jacket, women in colorful fabrics, ch...
The Sunday morning routine is often busy and full of doing: we pray, sing, celebrate Christ in the Eucharist, go to a class, and perhaps serve in some capacity. We spend a few minutes catching up with friends and welcoming newcomers between all the other things. ...
