House of Prayer: April Prayer Points

Answered Prayers (Thank You, Lord):
1. For St. Philip’s Academy’s Primary School Director, Trisha Reese. For the school subcommittees finalizing details for the school and for the children registered for the fall. 2. For the successful GriefShare ministry. 3. For Water Mission’s Walk for Water. 4. For the successful gathering at the Prayer as Worship workshop. 5. For the annual meeting and new Vestry members. 6. For the donations that have come in for the Shine the Light campaign. For all those overseeing the plans and daily operational progress. 7. For Nathan Youngman and his work crews and their excellent work restoring St. Philip’s Church. 8. For the wonderful staff at St. Philip’s. 9. For the Flower Guild and Altar Guild volunteers. 10. For Gospel Night with Ann Caldwell. 11. For the very well-attended spiritual gifts workshop series.
Prayer Points
1. For wise counsel for Archbishop Steve Wood and Bishop Chip Edgar. 2. For continued blessings upon our clergy and their families. May You continue to give them wisdom and protect them for any danger, disease, and sickness. 3. For the construction to go smoothly for St. Philip’s Academy. May they remain ahead of schedule. 4. For safety for the workmen as they begin to remove the scaffolding from the outside of the church. For continued safety for the workmen as they work inside the church. 5. For the Tea Room planning and preparation to go smoothly. For plenty of volunteers to sign up. 6. For the Union Pier plans to be excellent. For wisdom for Mayor Cogswell and the team working on the project. Thank you for the generosity of Ben Navarro.
Prayer Points for the Nations
Ukraine (Thank you, Lord, for the temporary ceasefire given from Ukraine.): For Russia to agree to a ceasefire. For Putin and Zelenskyy to be able to agree on reasonable terms to end the war permanently. For President Trump to be a help in the negotiations between the two countries. For the children who were taken to Russia to be found and returned to their Ukrainian families. Haiti: 1. For God to supernaturally intervene in taking out the gangs that are in power. For mercy for the people suffering from the cruel actions of those gangs. For the additional help needed to bring peace and necessary supplies to the people. For new leadership to be raised up. For our sister church in Haiti to receive the necessary funds to build the wall around the property so that erosion can be stopped. Israel: 1. For peace in Gaza and for remaining hostages to be found and released and bodies of loved ones returned. For protection for Israel and peace within the walls of Jerusalem. For the humanitarian supplies to get through to the people. For wisdom and protection for Netanyahu, his advisors, and his family. For comfort and mercy for the Palestinian people displaced during the war. For the future plans for Gaza and its restoration. Guide the plans with Your wisdom. Syria: 1. For God to intervene and stop the killing of innocent Christians. Convict those who have instigated this action.
USA: For the new cabinet members to have God’s wisdom and guidance for the positions they were appointed to. Thank you, Lord, for the smooth appointments. For those who are inspecting various agencies to carefully evaluate their findings. For adjustments if needed to be wise and fair and made with godly wisdom. For the President to be surrounded by people who provide wise counsel. Pray they are all people of prayer and looking to You, Father, for the answers. For safety and protection for all in authority from the President down to our local governors and officials. For unity for the country, that we would be ONE nation under God. For exposure of the cartels and their evil enterprises: human trafficking, drugs pouring in, etc. May the border patrols have wisdom and discernment as they deal with them.
The Nehemiah/Ezra Prayer Points
1. Continue to pray that no enemy of Christ can come through the gates of St. Philip’s. 2. Pray for the construction workers taking down the scaffolding to be safe and that the scaffolding plans for the inside of the church come together nicely. 3. Declare and decree that no injuries come upon anyone working on sites in Jesus’ Name.
