Answered Prayers (Thank You, Lord):

1. For the financial gifts that have brought us so close to completing the first phase of the  Shine the Light campaign.

2. For the successful adult forum series on “ Life-Changing Prayer” by Jim Cymbala. Thank you, Guv and Steve, for leading.

3. For the new classical Christian school plans and the various subcommittees.

4. For our clergy, staff, and Vestry. For the new sexton, Stephen Casey, assisting Ben.

5. For the new parish nurse ministry that Susan Keller is leading.

6. For the successful pilgrimage to Ireland and the travelers’ safe return. For Jeff’s leadership.

7. For the zoning approval for Camp Jubilee’s property.

8. For the experience the children had at Camp Jubilee––many seeds planted for the Kingdom.

9. For the volunteers, leaders and children that attended VBS at St. Philip’s.

10. For the pop-up praise and worship service on a recent Wednesday––may there be another this summer!

Prayer Points (Local Needs)

1. For summer vacations for our clergy and their families to go well. May they stay protected, healthy, and refreshed.

2. For Bishop Edgar and his family’s safe return from vacation. For healing for his sister Katie, who recently had a health crisis.

3. For the new Archbishop, Steve Wood, to have every good gift he needs for his leadership in ACNA.

4. For the Shine the Light campaign to complete phase one and to meet its financial goal for the new school. May our parish family participate 100%. Guide the subcommittees by the power of your Holy Spirit with wisdom and unity in their decisions.

5. For those who were impacted by Debby.

6. For wisdom for the group working on the Union Pier property plans.

7. For a safe return to school for the children, including our college-aged ones.

8. For the combining of the congregations of St. John’s Chapel and Holy Trinity to go well this Sunday. For blessings to be upon the Rev. David Dubay and for his plans to be led by the Lord.

9. For guidance and wisdom for Mayor Cogswell and Governor McMaster.

Prayer Points for the Nations

Ukraine: 1. For a peaceful solution and end to the war in Ukraine. For wise leadership. 2. For protection for the surrounding countries. 3. For the over 20,000 children that have been taken and are still missing. Answered prayer: Thank you, Lord, for the release of the journalists held in Russia.

Haiti: 1. For the newly assigned Transitional Council to have great wisdom and victory breaking up the gangs. 2. For the Kenyan soldiers to be successful in bringing law and order, especially in Port-au-Prince. 3. For protection for the nurses and doctors still operating in the clinics.

Israel: 1. For a hedge of protection around Israel and peace within the walls of Jerusalem. 2. For the hostages to be found and released in Gaza. 3. For a solution to bring an end to the war. 4. For the humanitarian aid to get through to the people. 5. For protection from the attacks coming into the northern part of Israel. 6. For Iran’s plans to attack Israel to be blocked. Bring calm minds to the table.

United Kingdom: 1. For wisdom and guidance for the new Prime Minister. 2. For an end to the violence and protests going on there.

Japan: 1. For our new base being established there to accomplish its purposes. For both Japan and America to work well together.

USA: 1. For comfort for the family of Corey Comperatore and healing for those injured. Thank you, Lord, that the assassination attempt failed. 2. For safety at all future political  rallies, for the people attending, volunteers, and security people. 3. For all of the leaders in our country in key positions of authority. For the fear of the Lord to be in every meeting in Congress and in the Supreme Court and protection as they come and go. Your will be done, Lord. 4. For Godly people to be elected to each seat, including that of President.

5. For the cartel network at our borders to be broken up. For solutions to the immigration problems and For those coming across to be protected from abuse. Only you, Lord, know the solution. Pray without ceasing for our country. Have mercy, Lord.
