House of Prayer: February Prayer Points

Answered Prayers (Thank You, Lord):

1. For St. Philip’s Academy’s new primary school director, Trisha Reese. 2. For the school subcommittees finalizing details for the school. 3. For the successful start of our new GriefShare ministry. 4. For the increase in attendance at the Wednesday night service. 5. For Water Mission’s ministry and provisions for the needs of those in North Carolina and beyond. For Kent Keller’s outreach to provide trailers and the construction of outdoor steps helping those get into the units. 6. For the peaceful presidential transition and for all the prayer warriors throughout the country praying for God’s will to be done. 7. For Nathan Youngman and his work crews restoring St. Philip’s Church. 8. For Jim Stelling’s leadership and his team overseeing the construction on our campus. 9. For all the new members joining St. Philip’s. 10. For the success of the Home Mission’s Team’s Angel Tree project. 11. For the continued donations coming in for the Shine the Light campaign. 12. For the prayer ministry teams and their faithful service. 13. For Chris, Paul, and Zippy’s leadership and gift for leading the various choirs and the congregation that we might worship YOU in Spirit and Truth.

Prayer Points for Local Needs

1. For wise counsel for the Archbishop Steve Wood and Bishop Chip Edgar. 2. For continued blessings upon our clergy and their families. May You continue to give them wisdom and special time together with their families. 3. For the construction to go smoothly for St. Philip’s Academy. May they finish on time. 4. For safety for the workmen as they begin to remove the scaffolding from the outside of the church. For continued safety for the workmen as they begin to install the scaffolding inside the church. 5. For the upcoming diocesan convention taking place at St. Philip’s in March. For excellent attendance and unity for the decisions being made. 6. For the Prayer as Worship workshop that was postponed due to weather. May it be a blessing to those who attend. 7. For the Union Pier plans to be excellent. For wisdom for Mayor Cogswell and the team working on the project. Thank you for the generosity of Ben Navarro.

Prayer Points for the Nations

Ukraine: 1. For peace between Russia and Ukraine and wisdom for those working toward this. 2. For Putin and Zellinski to be able to agree to a cease-fire. 3. For President Trump to be a help in the negotiations between the two countries. Haiti: 1. For God to supernaturally intervene in taking out the gangs that are in power. For mercy for the people suffering from the cruel actions of those gangs. 2. For our sister church in Haiti to receive the necessary funds to build the wall around the property so that erosion can be stopped. 3. For the additional help needed to bring peace and necessary supplies to the people. Israel: 1. For peace in Gaza and for remaining hostages to be found and released. Thank you, Lord, for the hostages that have been released.  2. For peace in Lebanon and Yemen. (Thank you, Lord, for the progress being made.) 3. For protection for Israel and peace within the walls of Jerusalem. 4. For mercy for all of the people displaced in these multiple war zones. 5. For wisdom and protection for Netanyahu, his advisors, and his family. 5. For an end to the war. 6. For comfort and mercy for the Palestinian people displaced during the war. 7. For the future plans for Gaza and its restoration. Guide the plans with Your wisdom. USA: 1. For the rescue workers to be able to find the black box and all the victims from the plane wreck in DC and the downed plane in Philadelphia. Comfort for the families that have lost loved ones. 2. For the agencies that will review and provide the necessary information to be well-informed and wise. For all details needed to be found. 3. For the candidates coming before Congress to be approved be the ones that You have selected to be part of the administration. 4. For the President to be surrounded by people who provide wise counsel. Pray they are all people of prayer and looking to You, Father, for the answers. 5. For safety and protection for all in authority from the President down to our local governors and officials. 6. For unity for the country, that we would be ONE nation under God. 7. For solutions to the immigration problems. 8. For exposure of  the various evil things going on: human trafficking, drugs pouring in, the plans being developed by terrorists. May the border patrols have wisdom and discernment as they deal with the cartels. 9. For those people that are reviewing the federal agencies to have all of the gifts of wisdom and discernment they need to make good assessments in each one. May it be a successful effort in correcting any areas that need resetting for their mission.

The Nehemiah/Ezra Prayer Points

1. Continue to pray that no enemy of Christ can come through the gates of St. Philip’s. 2. Pray for the construction workers taking down the scaffolding to be safe and that the scaffolding plans for the inside of the church come together nicely. 3. Declare and decree that no injuries come upon anyone working on sites in Jesus’ Name.
