Immediate Needs at Tricounty Family Ministries

News--Tricounty Needs Computers

As the economic effects of the pandemic continue to plague so many of our neighbors, Tricounty Family Ministries (TFM) is partnering with Charleston County to help those who are behind on their bills for COVID-related reasons. TFM will be setting up a computer lab staffed by volunteers to assist clients with online applications for financial assistance, and for this to be a success, TFM needs computers and volunteers!

Donated computers should have internet capability and be in good working condition. Volunteers must be fully vaccinated in order to work side-by-side with clients at the computer desks; masks are required and computer stations will be sanitized after each use. All volunteers will receive training in safety protocols and in the online application process, and they should be willing to work one shift per week (Mondays or Thursdays from 10:00 a.m.–12 noon).

Let's do all we can to help our Home Missions partner ministry and our neighbors in need!

Current donation/volunteer needs

  • Computers with internet capability (good condition)

  • Volunteers: Support for financial assistance online applications (Mondays and/or Thursdays, 10:00 a.m.–12:00 noon)

  • Volunteers: Food distribution (Wednesdays 9:15 a.m.–12:30 p.m.)
