Join Us for Lessons and Carols and the Wassail Bowl Tomorrow!
Worship with us tomorrow at our 8:15 service of Holy Communion (the Rev. William K. Christian, preacher) or our festival service of Lessons and Carols at 10:30! Join us also for Sunday school and the Rector's Forum between services and the annual Wassail Bowl reception following Lessons and Carols! Read on for details.
In-Person Christian Formation and Worship
Sunday School for children of all ages begins at 9:15 a.m. Click the link at the bottom of this page for more information and to register your child. The Rector's Forum begins at 9:30 in the Parish Hall. These will be the final Sunday school and Rector's Forum sessions of 2021.
We are offering in-person worship (masks optional) with services of Holy Communion at 8:15 a.m. and our Festival Service of Lessons and Carols at 10:30 a.m. Please click here for the updated communion guidelines. Childcare for infants and children three years and younger is available during the 10:30 service. There will not be Children's Church tomorrow; instead, families are encouraged to worship together during this very special service! After Lessons and Carols, head to the Parish Hall for the annual Wassail Bowl reception––click the link below to let us know you're planning on bringing a sweet or savory treat!
Worshipping from home? Join us live!
Those who are worshipping from home may visit our YouTube channel Sunday morning or use the link below to go directly to the video to watch. This week's announcements may be found in the printable bulletin (link near the bottom of the page).
The link will go live at 10:00 a.m., and the video itself will begin at about 10:25 with the choral introit. The recording will remain available at the same link after the stream ends for viewing at your convenience, and it will also be uploaded to our Vimeo page later in the day.
If you experience any technical difficulty with the direct link, you may access the stream through St. Philip's YouTube channel homepage.
Here are some notes we have been sharing each week about worshipping online:
- A service bulletin is available for you to view or print now. We have reformatted our traditional bulletin so that you may print it at home. People who have both handheld devices and laptops or desktops may choose to view the bulletin on one screen and the service on another, but we also plan to have the words you will need to participate on the worship screen.
- Even if you're at home, you may still give your weekly offering online. You may give securely using the link below or at the top of this page. You may also mail your offering to the church office (142 Church St., Charleston, SC 29401).
- We are here to help you if you have any questions about the online worship process! Please don't hesitate to reach out through email or to call the church office.
