Class 5: The Purpose of Marriage

In this class, Justin examines the 4th chapter of Tim Keller's The Meaning of Marriage, entitled "The Purpose of Marriage." Marriage was instituted by God for a far grander purpose than our mere earthly lives. It was intended by God to be nothing short of an instrument to make us fit for an eternity with God in heaven. And this purpose has profound consequences for how we search for a spouse and how we interact with our spouse. Also in this episode, we begin to take a peak into Dan Allender's book The Intimate Mystery which we will tackle in the next few weeks in order to gain some practical tools into how we can work towards the purpose of marriage.
