God's Littlest Lambs Children's Home Update
Life at God’s Littlest Lambs Children’s Home in Honduras has been very different during the past several months as our committed staff have worked tirelessly to care for the more than 60 children whose home is with LAMB. They have faced great challenges along the way. We are grateful that through God’s mercy and the diligence of our Honduran staff, we have not had a single case of COVID at the children’s home! Instead, in the midst of the pandemic, our children are continuing to learn, grow, and achieve new goals. We wanted to give you a taste of this through a few images sent to us this week from our Honduran staff. (Please pardon the less than ideal quality of the images!)
Our staff have a devotional during quarantine at Casa LAMB. Staff members get tested and quarantine prior to going to work at the Children’s Home.
Christmas Eve activities included a worship service and a movie night on the lawn at the children’s home!
New Year’s Eve celebration included a festive outdoor dinner on the grounds of the Children’s Home.
Hondurans are very good at celebrations! At the Children’s Home, we have birthday celebrations and bonfires for special occasions––piñatas are always a big hit!
Graduations are also great cause for celebration! Several of our children at the children’s home marked that milestone of graduation this year, including Tony Sierra (top, with Debbie and Steve Buckner, who serve as resident grandparents at the children’s home) and Kristofer Molina (middle, with Richard Lemus, Cuban missionary to LAMB who is serving as director of the children’s home).
