October Prayer Points

News––Frenchie Richards Prayer Points

Answered Prayers (Thank You, Lord):

1. For the increase in the financial gifts for the Shine the Light campaign.

2. For blessing the new season of Wednesdays Alive! services, suppers, and classes.

3. For blessing the new seasons of the Rector’s Thursday Bible Study and the Rector’s Forum on Sundays.

4. For the Home Mission Team’s Hope to Home outreach. Thanks for the donated furnishings and volunteers.

5. For our diocese’s new ministry being launched at the College of Charleston.

6. For the intercessors who have committed to pray for each one of Mere Anglicanism Conference speakers.

7. For Generations Ministry.

8. For those who made the blood drive outreach a success.

9. For the mass baptisms recently taking place at Auburn University and Texas A&M.

10. For Chris Walchesky’s honor achievement for being named to the 2030 Hymnal Commission.

Prayer Points

1. For all our children’s college experiences to go well. May they have Godly roommates, Godly friends, and Godly teachers, and may they connect with good churches.

2. For the Mere Anglicanism Conference to be well-attended and for all the speakers to be protected, healthy, and anointed with the message You have for them to bring.

3. For the bishop, our clergy, and their families to be protected from any sickness, disease, and danger.

4. For the Generations Ministry plans to continue to come together.

5. For the Shine the Light campaign to meet its goals and for our church to participate 100%.

6. For all of the staff at St. Philip’s. Bless them and their families.

7. For the Mentoring Ministry to be successful.

8. For the Understanding Spiritual Warfare teaching to be well-attended.

9. For the Foundations and Spiritual Gifts classes to be well-attended.

10. For Hope to Home ministry to thrive and bless those who will be living in their new homes.

11. For the diocesan men’s retreat to be well-attended.

12. For the Foyer Groups to be blessed.

13. For safe travels for the Gottshalks, the Ringers, the Gurleys, and Susan Keller, who are traveling to Israel and participating in a Shoresh Study Tour led by Archbishop Foley Beach.

 

Prayer Points (Nations’ Needs)

Ukraine:

1. For a peaceful solution and end to the war in Ukraine. For the much-needed socks donated by St. Philippians to get through quickly.

2. For the blockade to the grain shipments to be removed.

3. For the over 200,000 children who have been taken and separated from their parents to be reunited with their families.

Haiti:

1. For the gangs to be broken up in Haiti and for the troops being sent in to bring law and order.

2. For a Godly new president to be elected.

3. For the humanitarian aid to get through to the people.

Morocco, Libya, Maui, America:

1. For the necessary aid to get through to the earthquake victims in Morocco.

2. For the necessary aid to get through to the flood victims in Libya.

3. For continued aid to be provided for those affected by the wildfires in Maui.

4. For the necessary help needed for those affected by the recent hurricanes and storms in the United States.

Iran, North Korea, China:

1. For nuclear advancement plans to be blocked. For a resolution to the volatile situation in China, North Korea, and Iran.

Israel:

1. For a hedge of protection around Israel. For peace within the walls of Jerusalem.

2. For wisdom for the leaders and those making decisions.

United States

1. For the fear of the Lord to guide all meetings in Congress. For Your will to be done, Lord. For Godly people to be elected to each vacant seat.

2. For the cartel network at our borders to be broken up. For solutions to the illegal crossings going on. For those coming across to be protected from danger from coyotes and bandits along the way. Only you, Lord, know the answer.

3. Thank you, Lord, that during Operation Lone Star, 900 children were saved from sex trafficking.

Prayers for our Children

Lord, we are lifting up our children to you. We declare that NO weapon formed against them shall proper. They SHALL be successful. They SHALL prosper. They WILL receive favor in abundance. We boldly declare it done, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
